Theme of Montage 2009: Excite!
This summer, NUSPS invites all photographers to leap into the theme of Excite! and capture magical moments of excitement. Be it to share, to inspire, to delight; we hope to see your images and there’s prizes to boot.
Photographs like any artform can communicate and affects one’s emotions. In contrast with traditional deep brooding themes, this year NUSPS invites participants to explore the power of this medium in a whole new way through the lively theme. Show us pictures that elicit a chuckle, a gasp and even stop a viewer in his tracks! Spread the cheer in this gloomy climate we say!
Grand Prize includes the Canon EOS 500D Kit
Categories include Open and Youth cateogories. Submission is open from 23 April 2009, 0900 to 23 May 2009, 2359hr. All participants are also invited to the open judging on 30 May 2009 in NUS Lecture Theatre 33; 1000hr (Youth), 1400hr (Open). In addition to attractive prizes, winners of the competition will have their prints exhibited during the Montage 2009 seminar and exhibition.

About The Photographic Society of NUS (NUSPS)
Founded in November 1969, the Photographic Society of NUS is one of the earliest interest groups formed in the National University of Singapore. Today, the Society boasts of more than 750 current members after 40 years of achievements and success. The Society is actively involved in bringing photographic techniques and knowledge to its members through courses and field trips.
